    Since Cheticamp is situated on the Golf of St.Lawrence, many whale species spend the summer in our coastal waters during their seasonal migration.

    In addition to the world famous Cabot Trail, the Cheticamp area has many secondary roads suitable for scenic cycling and touring.

    Hiking

    Take part in a guided sunset hike on the Skyline Trail in the Cape Breton Highlands National Park, Monday to Friday from June 22nd to September 21st starting 2 hours before sunset (for 12 years of age and older)

    Cape Breton is one of the top 50 golf destinations in the world, according to Golf Digest Magazine. Golf 18 holes at the unique Le Portage Golf course amid mountains and ocean views.

    la Plage Saint-Pierre is on Cheticamp Island. Enjoy a picnic by the sea, go swimming ,camping or indulge in many other activities the beach has to offer.
