The charming acadian village she calls home gives this self taught artist endless material to work with, from peaceful scenes of moored fishing boats to breathtaking seascapes and landscapes. Painting has proven to be only one of Paula's talents, she is also an accomplished stained glass artisan; the high quality of her work shines through in her unique designs, including sun catchers, lamps, jewellery and other one of a kind pieces. A most recent addition to this artists repertoire has been her collection of fully articulate mohair teddies, primitive dolls, formed stitcheries and pillows. Cape Rouge Primitives, a division of Seasonal Treasures, showcases this ever increasing popular line of handmade whimsies. the shop is also proud to feature a gathering of other maritime made goods, such as hooked rugs by Paula's mom Therese, copper with silver jewellery, altered art pendants, pottery, handcrafted soaps and creative recylcing products like journals, frames, mirrors and birdhouses just to name a few. no mass production here, just unique quality arts and crafts; Handmade - because it matters!
