The 6th annual Inverness Crabfest will be held on Friday, July 22 from 12noon to 6:oopm. Enjoy a magnificent view of the Gulf of St. Lawrence and listen to the strains of Celtic music as you feast on a heaping platter of crab, potato salad and coleslaw.

Le Festival de l'Escaouette is the only Acadian festival in Inverness county.It is a celebration of Acadian culture and traditions in the Acadian village of Cheticamp.Escaouette is a latin word meaning "the gift of food".
